My name is Cathy Nagle. I am a SAHM (Stay-At-Home-Mom) and wife. I have always been a visual person. As I have created blogs and websites throughout the years, photos and graphics have largely played a part of these. A graphical website can provide the means for a very good presentation, particularly for an artist or photographer. I now believe in this season of my life, it is time for me to provide a more rich content through the practice of writing what is on my heart to the glory of God. We can create artwork if you will, through our written words. Words chosen carefully through thoughtful times, during moments of contemplating or even when the Lord impresses Himself upon my heart or lays a vision before me is ultimate goal and foundation for this online journal.
I have learned many, many lessons in this life so far. I’ve noticed during those times of testing and trial, these important lessons very quickly elude me. What a treasure it will be to rethink and ponder on those lessons as time moves on. If you, the online reader are encouraged or edified through these writings, I rejoice all the more.
As Moses instructed the children of Israel, during the building of the temple, it is clear that the Lord filled those mentioned in Exodus 35:30-35 with certain skills including the ability to teach these to others.
Moses told the Israelites, “See, God has selected Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. He’s filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and know-how for making all sorts of things, to design and work in gold, silver, and bronze; to carve stones and set them; to carve wood, working in every kind of skilled craft. And he’s also made him a teacher, he and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. He’s gifted them with the know-how needed for carving, designing, weaving, and embroidering in blue, purple, and scarlet fabrics, and in fine linen. They can make anything and design anything.”
“Bezalel and Oholiab, along with everyone whom God has given the skill and know-how for making everything involved in the worship of the Sanctuary as commanded by God, are to start to work.”
Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab along with all whom God had gifted with the ability to work skillfully with their hands. The men were eager to get started and engage in the work. They took from Moses all the offerings that the Israelites had brought for the work of constructing the Sanctuary. The people kept on bringing in their freewill offerings, morning after morning. (The Message Bible)
As I am seeing God’s hand upon my life and sensing His nudge in this area of writing. I am excited to see what He will produce through these hands that *He* has created. I very am eager to begin this discipline, to practice the skills associated with writing, and to share through the written word those things in my heart and soul!
In His Love,

Cathy~
I love your website, it is so beautiful and calming.
Elaine and I were emailing back and forth about this very subject when she read this (and also received another email about this) and we were both excited at what God is clearly doing with creativity and the body of Christ! I’m looking forward to reading more!

Cathy,
I’ve been trying to reach you to see how you’re doing. I don’t have an e-mail address or anything so I thought I’d try this route.
Are you still there?
