This video is an eye opener. An Iraq Veteran has a personal message for Barack Obama.
“When you call the Iraqi war a mistake you disrespect the service and sacrifice of everyone who has died promoting freedom… Because you do not understand or appreciate these principles Sir, I am supporting Senator John McCain for president.”
Thank you sir, for your service and for promoting freedom in lands where there is desolation.
YOU have seen it first-hand! I salute you. I love America and I love what she stands for.
I Pledge Allegiance I Promise to be faithful and true (Promise my loyalty)
to the flag to the emblem that stands for and represents
of the United States all 50 states, each of them individual, and individually represented on the flag
of America yet formed into a UNION of one Nation.
and to the Republic And I also pledge my loyalty to the Government that is itself a Republic, a form of government where the PEOPLE are sovereign,
for which it stands, this government also being represented by the Flag to which I promise loyalty.
one Nation under God, These 50 individual states are united as a single Republic under the Divine providence of God, “our most powerful resource” (according to the words of President Eisenhower)
Indivisible, and can not be separated. (This part of the original version of the pledge was written just 50 years after the beginning of the Civil War and demonstrates the unity sought in the years after that divisive period in our history)
with Liberty The people of this Nation being afforded the freedom to pursue “life, liberty, and happiness”,
and Justice And each person entitled to be treated justly, fairly, and according to proper law and principle,
for All. And these principles afforded to EVERY AMERICAN, regardless of race, religion, color, creed, or any other criteria. Just as the flag represents 50 individual states that can not be divided or separated, this Nation represents millions of people who can not be separated or divided.
Thank you Home of the Heros
These two videos are a powerful witness and they speak for themselves. John McCain on Abortion, in his own words. Barack Obama on Abortion, in his own words.

I have been quite hesitant to write about the elections, but I am sensing a pressing need upon my heart to share just a few key issues that I believe cannot go unspoken. Do you view yourself as belonging to a particular “race”? What does the word race imply when used within the context of describing people? If you thought winners and losers then you will understand why I refuse to use this term when I speak about people of various nationalities or people groups.
What we are witnessing during this election, and that by the way, is an actual race, are walls being built up to further divide people groups. The Bible does not use the term *race* but refers to us as being of *ONE BLOOD*.
A scientist at the Advancement of Science Convention in Atlanta made this statement,
“Race is a social construct derived mainly from perceptions conditioned by events of recorded history, and it has no basic biological reality.”
Before I go any further I want to make a few things clear.
- I am a Christian conservative. That said, I am voting Republican. I trust that no matter the outcome of the elections, there is nothing outside of the Lord’s will and every thing will work out according to His plan. We have a duty as Christians and citizens of the United States to vote our conscience, NOT *cop out*. No one person will ever espouse everything that a Christian holds dear but we have to chose to vote for the candidate the comes the closest. The republican platform more closely adheres to those principles and ideals that are of utmost importance for the sake and well being of all peoples. It has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with skin tone.
- I am also a young earth creationist.
- I fully reject evolutionary doctrine upon every opportunity that I can get.
Evolutionary thinking FUELS racism. Let me state that again; Evolutionary Thinking Fuels Racism. I bet you didn’t know that Darwin thought natives were advanced animals?
Sad but true.
Don’t be sold out, put under and BLINDED by such vain philosophies made up by men such as these.
Consider this teaching for a moment;
Many of the early settlers of Australia considered the Australian Aborigines to be less intelligent than the “white man,” because aborigines had not evolved as far as whites on the evolutionary scale. In fact, the Hobart Museum in Tasmania (Australia) in 1984 listed this as one of the reasons why early white settlers killed as many aborigines as they could in that state. In 1924, the New York Tribune (Sunday, February 10) had a very large article telling their readers that the missing link had been found in Australia. The missing link referred to happened to be aborigines from the state of Tasmania.4
The incredible thing is that we live in a society that states it wants to be rid of racist attitudes. Yet we are conditioned to racist attitudes by our very education system, and the whole foundational basis for racism permeates people’s minds. (in bolded are mine)
And STILL We Embrace Evolution! Don’t Be Fooled!
- We are a homeschooling family. Homeschooling has afforded our family the opportunity to raise our children outside of a public school system that focuses too much on the differences between people groups.
It’s better to focus on our similarities, and THAT is what we do! We are able to teach our children about history MINUS the prejudices that are found on both sides of the coin. My children see and appreciate the beauty of all people who are created in the image of God Himself.
Here is another excellent quote made by ABC News,
“More and more scientists find that the differences that set us apart are cultural, not racial. Some even say that the word race should be abandoned because it’s meaningless.” The article went on to say that “we accept the idea of race because it’s a convenient way of putting people into broad categories, frequently to suppress them—the most hideous example was provided by Hitler’s Germany. And racial prejudice remains common throughout the world.”
Countless believers of {{all people groups}} throughout the portals of time have given their lives in defense of their innocent brothers and sisters.
Let’s use this time while we’re on the earth to take joy in the thought of living together in Love. When the Lord sets up His Kingdom upon the New Heavens and the New Earth, those who look forward to His coming will be out of EVERY nation, tribe and tongue. We will recognize each other too because we will look the same minus the pitfalls of age!
(Revelation 7:9,10) After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands, They cried out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the lamb!”
In His Love,

Do you support our troops, or is the thought of such on your back burner somewhere? It shouldn’t be. I can think of many, many reasons. Their service and sacrifice for starters. It’s easy to forget about them as we go about our daily business. Out of sight, out of mind, right?
Just give me but a few moments to help you see a bigger picture.
- * Imagine waking up to gunfire all around you after you’ve just fallen asleep.
- * Imagine the sound of “Taps” playing in the distance, day after day, week after week, for you know all too well that another comrade just went down.
- * Imagine reading the mail as your loved one informs you of all the groups who ungratefully oppose you and openly detest your presence in a foreign land, and all the while YOU are protecting their very right to even protest!
This is not even the tip of the iceberg of what a soldier’s day is like.
I am grateful for them for numerous reasons;
- They Are Dedicated
- They Are Disciplined
- They Protect
- They Serve their Fellowman
- They Believe in FREEDOM for ALL
- They UPHOLD the Constitution
- They Sacrifice their Lives
- They fight for our rights to live and dwell in a free society.
The American Service men and women have a long standing reputation for their compassion and mercy, namely for children and the weak. This is a part of recorded history. I salute you.
If you don’t agree with me on the above points, then maybe you will agree with me on this one. The reason that I am so thankful for our troops, (this is one of the biggest aspects of my life, day in and day out), my ability to do what I am doing right now, sharing my thoughts with you, my Freedom of Speech. We talk and communicate, day in and day out. We give our opinions and we teach. We protest and we lobby. We don’t like to think about living in a totalitarian society where the thought police dwell and words are few, but these societies exist like it or not.
You don’t have to agree with the current president to back up the US troops. It doesn’t matter whether you are republican or democrat or another third party. May history always serve as a reminder to us all. May we embrace that which is good, true and noble. May we learn from those mistakes that we have made as individuals and as a nation, never to repeat them. May God continue to bless this country of America. May she continue to shine forth that liberty, compassion and mercy upon a hurting world.
Always Remember……….
Greater Love has No Man than this, that He Lay Down His Life for His Friends (John 15:13).

The seasons are changing now. The leaves are all too swiftly falling from the trees and somehow the constant wind is resounding with a lowly moan, reminding me of the cold winter that will be arriving shortly. I am alone as I write this evening. I’m alone in the sense that the rest of my family is tucked away safely in their beds.
There have been many times in my life as I endure a trial, I have been all alone, all the while surrounded by people of all things! But asking others for advice was not the answer. I’ve wondered about this many, many times. Does anybody understand?
I take comfort in acknowledging that the one who knows me inside and out understands me perfectly.
I believe the Lord permits us to go through various trials and tests in order for us to learn how to depend on him. It’s a part of our nature to want a “quick fix” or an “easy answer”, but don’t be discouraged if the trial lingers on a bit.
Sometimes I can’t understand why I didn’t inquire of the Lord sooner. I take comfort in acknowledging that the one who knows me inside and out understands me perfectly. He is so patient. As a matter of fact, being all alone for a period of time can be a good thing. Why do we think that just because He doesn’t answer our prayers that way that we want that He doesn’t love us anymore? Spending some alone time gives us a chance to reflect upon the Lord, upon our lives and current situations. It gives us time to do those things we’ve been putting off for so long. We homeschool and contrary to popular belief, we are always *very* busy! Opportunities and invitations from church and homeschool friends in addition to community involvement can take up a good bit of time.
If you find yourself alone at this time, please remember that there is a God, the God of the Bible who loves us dearly. He sent His son Jesus Christ to die on the cross in order to reconcile us to Himself. Like I said before, sometimes being alone can be a good thing, but it’s important to also remember that we need each other too. We need balance.
I love when the Lord uses another person in my life to reach out to me in an answer to prayer when they knew nothing of the burden I had been carrying. This increases my faith by leaps and bounds! So please remember we are NEVER truly alone. Where can we go to escape His awesome presence?
“If I ascend up into heaven, You are there: if I make my bed in hell [Heb: sheol], behold, You are there” (Psalm 139:8)
Our Lord is everywhere. This is so comforting. His eyes see everything. Nothing is new to the Lord.
We are never alone. Although at times it may seem that way but the truth it that our Creator holds us and everything we see right in the palm of His loving hands.
