I have been blessed as I persevere to remain committed in following the Lord’s lead to having morning quiet times. I’ve reserved this time to journal what I’m learning and pray for my self and others. It was impressed upon my heart to seek for an online Bible audio podcast. I found several that I subscribed to and downloaded. I had even found free mp3 audio clips of the Bible from start to finish that I spent quite a bit of time formatting for my audio software for ease of listening, but it still wasn’t quite what I believed that the Lord was leading me to. To my delight, I found an online Bible reading podcast that I am addicted to! It’s called *The One Year Bible on Radio* and it’s narrated by a gentleman with a fabulously anointed voice named *Tom Dooley*.
I have placed the logo and subscription feed to this podcast in the sidebar. One click will take you to ItunesItunes where you can subscribe. If you don’t own an ipod, you can still listen to the podcast online.
A companion blog is also online where you will find commentaries and notes that pertain to each day’s reading. Being the visual person that I am, I was thrilled to view the Christian graphics inserted in each post!
If THAT’S not enough, you can also download and print the companion
I’m so happy that I waited and kept seeking. In a rush, rush, hurry, hurry world, it’s nice to know that we can always find true rest and peace in our God. Our God is an Awesome God and He is well worth the wait. He’s never far away!
Isaiah 40:31
(New Living Translation)31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
In His Love, Cathy
